Jillian Cardarelli is an nineteen year old Massachusetts native country music singer/songwriter who has enjoyed performing at many venues from festivals, country fairs, the John F. Kennedy Library, the TD Garden to Fenway Park. She has also been the opening act for Grammy winner, James Otto of Nashville, and country singer Dean Brody, CCMA Award winner.  Most recently Jillian has been singing the National Anthem for the Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics.

Jillian’s latest CD, “Little Big Sky”, released in June of 2010, features many original songs, including “Lights of Graceland”, a tribute to Elvis Presley’s legacy, co-written by Jillian and Don Campbell, all recorded with her band. The album was produced by Marty Walsh of Berklee College of Music. Formerly of Supertramp, Marty has recorded with Leann Rimes, Kenny Rogers, John Denver and Dolly Parton, among many others.

Jillian co-wrote and recorded her first songs, “Daddy’s Little Country Girl” and “Lights of Graceland”, with award winning singer/songwriter, Don Campbell in Nashville. Jillian also co-wrote and recorded with Robin Ball and producer Todd Bradley of Burning Blue Music in Nashville.

Jillian recorded her CD, “Black Velvet” at the age of fourteen. Released in March of 2008, “Black Velvet” includes a variety of musical genres and was featured on The River 92.5 FM Homegrown Showcase. Jillian’s first CD, entitled “Christmas 2006”, features both traditional and contemporary holiday songs. Both “Black Velvet” and “Christmas 2006” were also produced by Marty Walsh.

In August of 2009, Jillian was the third place winner in WOKQ Radio’s talent competition and in 2008, Jillian was a finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown in New Hampshire.

For many years Jillian performed in local musicals and various Broadway reviews produced by Anna Smulowitz of Newburyport, Massachusetts. She has been a soloist at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox, at the TD Garden for the Boston Bruins, hockey and basketball games, tournaments, Little League opening ceremonies and other civic events. Jillian was the chosen performer at the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum for the 2009 Federal Awards Ceremony.

Jillian, a college sophomore, is excited to pursue her career in music, her efforts in songwriting and recording, while performing on many stages.
